Perle (US) Hops Maximize

Triple Pearl Whole Hops (1oz)

Triple Pearl is born from a cross between the classic Perle female and an unknown male.  She resulted in a rather high alpha acid (likely from the father) and a much, much more pronounced aroma from the mother.  Aroma is very typical of traditional Perle but with greater emphasis on melon, sweet citrus (clementine), and Christmas spices like clove, allspice, etc.  A very slight earthiness tempers this hop into something suitable for most beer styles especially that “new thing” brewers look for in IPAs.
